Over the last 25 years, Sterling Warner has taught a wide variety of Composition, Literature, Creative Writing, and Rhetoric courses at two and four year colleges and universities and, for the past twelve years, he has been chief editor of Leaf by Leaf, the Evergreen Vallley College literary magazine. Additionally, Warner is the author of several cutting-edge textbooks including a literature-based composition text entitled Thresholds: Literature-Based Composition (1997); he also co-authored the multicultural reader Visions Across the Americas: Short Essays for Composition (5th edition, 2004) and Projections: Brief Readings on American Culture (2nd edition, 2003).
