Gillian Wegener was born in New York and has lived in California for almost twenty-five years. She received her BA from Humboldt State University and an MA in Writing from the University of San Francisco. Her poems have been published in In the Grove, RUNES, The Ledge, The Mad Poets' Review, Central Valley Poetry Journal, and Zambomba, among others. She currently lives in Modesto, California and teaches English at Oakdale Junior High School.
